2. bring up your rounded rectangle tool and set it to a radius of 15px and 780 x 82 px. drag it so that the top curve is just hidden. now, (if you don’t have it as white (#FFFFFF) already give it a color overlay of that.) drop the layers opacity to 20% 3. bring up the shapes tool, select ornaments and then a Fleur-De-Lis. 4. rotate and drop opacity to 20% again 5. add text, i used verdana,regular,36px,italic, #FFFFFF 6.make a selection of the remaining document (hit ctrl+a then ctrl+alt+click the original layer for speed) and on a new layer fill this black (#000000) 7. bring up blending options for this layer and select gradient overlay. I suggest for speed you simply click the copper gradient then adjust the colors: 8. then add text I used verdana, regular, 10px, NOT italic, #FFFFFF with lower case l’s as seperators. hope this helps!![]()
In this tutorial we will be creating a beautiful blue header. suitable for any purposes, simply and effective.
1.first off, create a new document that is 800 x 98 px (you may wish to round this up to 100)
create a new layer and using your rectangular marquee tool drag out an area that is 800 x 73 px. fill this with white.
bring up blending options for this layer and create a gradient from #1B52C2 to #1C8FE8.

#B8B7B7 - 0%
#F9F8F7 - 30%
#B4B2B2 - 83%
#F7F6F6 - 100%
then lower this gradient overlays opacity to 25% (I like this number)
