1. Create a new Canvas. Go to File > New. In the New dialogue box set the size to 700 w X 500 h. Click OK. 2. Open the layers panel or press F7 to make it visible if not. Set the RGB values as in the screen shot 3. Select the Type tool from the tool bar menu or press T, click on the canvas to start typing, since i want the O to be a little fancy i haven’t written it yet, so i just wrote Orange without O. 4. In the layers panel double click as shown in the screen shot. 5. After you double click, the Layer Style window opens up. In this first step, use these settings for the Outer Glow. 6. Next click on Bevel and Emboss, Also set the style to Inner Bevel. Change depth to 291% 7. Click on the Color Overlay options, and set the same color that was given to the background. 8. Lastly click on the Stroke, change the RGB color of the stroke to what is shown on the image, 9. Next select the Elliptical marquee tool from the tool bar. 10. Draw a circle and then subtract out with the help of another elliptical selection. (holding down the ALT key. 11. To fill hit ALT+ Backspace with white color. Once the color is filled press CTRL + D 12. Next we want this circle to be having the same effect as the ones on the type layer. 13. Next select the text layer which has the symbol, right click on the layer and click on paste layer style! 14. Since this object is larger, the bevel effect seems to be a little moved and needs minor adjustments. On the shape layer double click on the area as shown in the screen shot. 15. When the layer style opens, select 16. Here i wrote a text ‘bite’ in white color. Set the drop shadow parameters as shown. 17. Also change the Stroke settings. Change this stroke color to the background color. hope you guys like this tutorial!
